Japan Slides

My class and I have been learning about japan and Olympics themes we were learning about Olympics and then we thought of a great idea that we should learn about Japan Because the Olympics is in Japan so we did a rat work of Japan what we drawed was the the cherry blossom and a pagoda and then we did slide about Japan we got to do 4 to 6 slides of our pick there was What kind of sports does Japan play and other staff like Animals,Land and Ocean and where is Japan In the world   I had a really fun time learning and getting to know why cherry blossoms are so important to Japan What i found challenging was to learn about aa pagoda and why cherry blossom is important next time I will learn more facts about a pagoda.  

A Sweet Business Bees

 Today me and my Reading Group Were reading about bees and learning about it after we read the book with our teacher Miss Hickling When we got back to our desk we started on doing our learn create share and we had to put the arrows and point them to where u think fits there and then you have to right it down like cost and business we had to like cross the cost and business and put arrows together and then right why the it goes together make it into a sentence we had to read it from the book that we were learning about and when we got the sentence we had to make that into our own word and then post it what i found challenging was to make it into my own word next time i would learn more and more about.

Olympics

 My class and I have been learning about Olympics and watched videos about it I learnt a lot about the olympics and I know what the RIngs Means and I Learnt about who created the modern Olympics and other staff I had a really fun time learning about Olympics I heard that New Zealand got a gold medal Next time i will learn more and more about Olympics and the modern Olympics.  

have you ever seen a flying water bottle??

What I think is going to happen is that the bottle is going to fly really high and the water's going to fall out of the bottle really fast because the bottle faces down well it goes up so then the water falls out of the bottle quick.I think that it is going to be higher than our school.

Have you ever seen a flying bottle before? well i will be explaining to you about what happened to the flying bottle in the sky.First we filled up the bottle with water just one third of water into the water bottle and then we put the bottle down and flipped the aqua pod and put it on top of the valve of the water bottle.

Secondly we attached the pump to the aqua pod and then we pumped the bottle up until we did ten pumps we wanted it to be higher than our school. After that we did it again because everyone else wanted to be higher and higher.

Lastly we put the string to the aqua pot and then we left it fo the ground to pump it up.  When pump the bottle up we pulled the string and than bottle went flying high in the sky we had to stay back at the wall because we could of got wet by it so we went 5 meters away from the bottle and then we counted down from ten to zero.

What is a aqua pod? A aqua pod is an orange and black thing and it has three legs thing on the sides and when you pull the string it goes really high and fast into the sky well water comes down out of the bottle.

My amazing dark bedroom

My class and I have been learning about what our bedroom looks like or is it messy or clean. My room is really messy but I like it. We had to write about what our room is and if it is messy or clean our teacher Miss Hickling thought of us to write about our bedroom. Everyone in my class room was excited to write about it. We had to learn about it because we thought it would be a great thing to write about.Learning about our bedroom and seeing if it is messy or clean was nice. I enjoyed doing it and I found challenging ways to think about what my room smells like.Do you have a messy room?







                                                            My dark bedroom story



The thing I like the most about my room is the darkness and having the king size bed. It fills up all the space in my room that I can't move anywhere in my room but at least I can have the biggest bed.
I have the best room but the only thing I don’t like about my room is that it is at the front of my house. It gets cold everyday. I don't like to get out of bed.

My room smells like new clothes we buy and bed sheets we put on my bed.It’s soft but it gets cold every morning but when it is night i get hot and kick off all the blankets of the bed.
My family loves staying clean. Unlike me, I make my room dirty all the time. 

Sometimes I eat in my room and just leave the dishes in my room till three days then I will take it.
My room has the worst view but at least I have a room. Sometimes I like to look outside because I have been in my room for a long time but all I can see is the cars going past my house.
That is why I think that I have the worst room in my house.

The amazing island writing

My class and I have been learning about Island’s our Teacher Miss Hickling told our whole class that we are write about Island’s she showed us a picture of an Island and we had to think of what would it be if we were there so we write about it.We had to learn about the island because our teacher picked what we were writing about for our writing.My learning went amazing. I had fun thinking about the Island and what would happen if I was there.Have you ever been to a nice fresh Island before?

                             My feature Island

 I breathe in the smell of warm salty water spreading around in my mouth.

I catch sight of a giant bush covered mountain reaching for the sky.

I could hear birds tweeting loudly in the trees.I feel the soft sand and the Hard rocks on the floor. The rocks were so hard to walk on and sharp that I kept jumping every time I got poked by the rocks.

I could hear the  Trees swagging,Crunchy leaves and coconuts falling off the tree like someone chopping off the tree.I could see a boat with someone in it about to fall because it was going fast.

I could taste the saltiness from the ocean and I could taste the soft sand in my mouth well i was swimming around in the ocean with my family and friends.I could smell the refreshing cooking that my family was making.

Singing my name in sign languag

 In week 2 We have been learning about signing our names in sign language and learning how to do it off by heart. There was a story and pictures of the hand and the letter of what the hand is doing. When we were playing around with singing words our teacher Miss Hickling said that we should sign our names in sign language we had to learn it because it was sign language week so thought of that idea to do it. Learning sign language was really fun. I learnt lots of stuff like signing my name in sign language and I also learnt how to sign some of my family's name in sign language. I really enjoyed learning about it and I want to learn more of it. Do you know how to sign your own name in sign language?
