Parihaka Feather

 About 2 Weeks ago my class have been working on parihaka and have been learning about identifying the main point. We searched other words for peace and found words such as prosperity,peace and goodwill and then we had to put them inside of our feathers.after that we  printed them out and cut it out. We used google drawing to do our work on.I Found finding words that relate to the words we challenging.

 Not That long ago me and my class have been learning how to create a diwali by drawing it ourself, the first thing was to get a white paper and then get a plate to trace around it next we drawed a little circle and had to use a ruler and draw lines so we could draw the flower on it, after you draw the flower rub out the lines and color the flower in whatever color you  want and then you finished it.

 In week 2 My class and I have been learning how to Mix colours, First we took a photo of ourself and then we printed it out, we used a sharpie to draw around our faces after that we painted the inside of our picture and  let it dry. Next we scratched the paint that got on the outside of our painting until it was gone.

when you finish that then you get a colored paper and put it behind your photo. I found mixing the colors to make my skin color Challenging.

2021 Achievements

This week my class Has been learning about our 3 things that we did this year during 2021, we had Miss Torry as our cybersmart teacher we got to use canva and make a slide show, we took a video of ourself and put it on the slide, after we wrote 2021 next to the video then we added 3 achievements that we have done in 2021 this year my one was netball, Art and Handwriting I really enjoyed using the app, next time I would take a video of me saying it clearly.

Service Poster

This term our R.E value is service. We used canva to do our poster. Our first step was to go on the app and then pick your own poster that you like and then write down what service looks like,sounds like and feels like. You could choose your own background and change your fonts and that I really enjoyed getting to know what service is and I found learning what service was Next time i will learn lots about service is when you being kind,treating others how you want to be treated and Helping the poor.

 My whole class picked our favorite New Zealand native bird.We read and watched a video about the birds and the names of them. The First step was to trace the outline of the bird and put shapes of your choice inside of it Next we shade in the shapes the same color is your bird and we added watercolor around the daker section of the white circle the last part was to put a crape paper around the circle but we had to let it dry before you put it on I found sticking the crape paper around the watercolor challenging because it keeps sticking onto my hands.

Why I think netball is the best sport.

 

My whole school were doing a speech we thought of topic first and then we got a plan from the teacher and then we write about what we know about a topic and why people should do it after we did all that our class got to write it on our chromebooks and then printed it out and we had to practice it. 

Have you ever played netball? I firmly believe that netball is a game for everyone. 

Netball is healthy, especially for both your body and your mind. It burns calories, Improves upper body strength by working key arm muscles. 

Firstly,  I think that netball is good for your body because you get exercise while playing. Many people can play but it takes time and practice and learning how to throw and catch the ball. 

Secondly I Think that Netball is the best sport because it keeps your mind active and netball involves teamworks which helps you to learn how to work with others.

Lastly I think, Netball is hard for some but we have all been at the learning stage before. It just takes practice and time. To me netball is not that hard to play. and you can get better and better at playing.

In conclusion, I believe that netball is the best sport. Because it’s really fun and easy that's why i think you should give netball a go.
