The amazing island writing

My class and I have been learning about Island’s our Teacher Miss Hickling told our whole class that we are write about Island’s she showed us a picture of an Island and we had to think of what would it be if we were there so we write about it.We had to learn about the island because our teacher picked what we were writing about for our writing.My learning went amazing. I had fun thinking about the Island and what would happen if I was there.Have you ever been to a nice fresh Island before?

                             My feature Island

 I breathe in the smell of warm salty water spreading around in my mouth.

I catch sight of a giant bush covered mountain reaching for the sky.

I could hear birds tweeting loudly in the trees.I feel the soft sand and the Hard rocks on the floor. The rocks were so hard to walk on and sharp that I kept jumping every time I got poked by the rocks.

I could hear the  Trees swagging,Crunchy leaves and coconuts falling off the tree like someone chopping off the tree.I could see a boat with someone in it about to fall because it was going fast.

I could taste the saltiness from the ocean and I could taste the soft sand in my mouth well i was swimming around in the ocean with my family and friends.I could smell the refreshing cooking that my family was making.

Singing my name in sign languag

 In week 2 We have been learning about signing our names in sign language and learning how to do it off by heart. There was a story and pictures of the hand and the letter of what the hand is doing. When we were playing around with singing words our teacher Miss Hickling said that we should sign our names in sign language we had to learn it because it was sign language week so thought of that idea to do it. Learning sign language was really fun. I learnt lots of stuff like signing my name in sign language and I also learnt how to sign some of my family's name in sign language. I really enjoyed learning about it and I want to learn more of it. Do you know how to sign your own name in sign language? 

How to learn about Abraham ad Sarah

Like a week ago my class and I have been learning about Abraham and Sarah in our our class. We got into groups of three and then we got to pick what we want to act out. My team picked role play so I had to act like Abraham because I was Abraham and Paula was Sarah, lastly Mikaela was our Narrator.

I think you know what a covenant means.

Last week me and my class were learning about covenant and what it means.I had a so much fun learning about i learnt that covenant is a sacred promise I did good with my learning. My Post Card

 During Week 1 and term two me and my class were doing our post card and for our post card we had to write a card like your in the war and you are sending a message to your family and then you put a fake st and then and a fake date after that you do other stuff i enjoyed writing down a fake message for my family what i found challenging was all of it and i will change my writing for my family and make it different.

Past Present Future

Yesterday me and my class had cybersmart with Mrs Torrie and we had to do old pictures and new one's that is the same is the  picture next to it after you do that there were blank boxes and we got to pick witch one that we wanted to do my favorite one was finding the pictures on an app I really enjoy finding different pictures and seeing the difference of it what i found challenging  to do was the picking what i should put in the blank boxes.

My Mother's day card

  Today for mother's day me and me class made a card for our mum.I was excited to make my card for my mum out teacher miss hickling gave our class a black paper and we had to trace a heart and then poke holes in to it after you poke the hole in the paper we had to put strings all around the holes after all that we had to write in our writing books something kind about your mother I enjoyed making writing the card for my mum and the least thing that i liked was poking the holes just because i keep poking my hand.
